Slekx.com is proud to offer you quality content with minimal advertisements. The only ads that you will find on this site are from companies that I actually use on a daily basis. If you would like to support Slekx’s goal of providing quality tutorials without the presence of obnoxious advertisements, consider donating. Every little bit helps.

About This Website
Slekx.com is my technical blog. It documents all of my experiences, discoveries, frustrations, bug-fixes, and random forays into computer-related topics. As such, you will find mostly Flash content here. However, a few other topics come up every now and again. At the moment, these other topics are mainly comprised of Python, Wordpress, and advanced mathematics.

About Me
My name is Ryan Hodson. I’m a programmer who has been developing Flash applications for over six years. I’ve worked as an ActionScript programmer for the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and Beyond Design. In addition to Flash, my interests lie in 3D programming, web development, graphic design, user interaction, visualization, and data-driven applications. I can be contacted via the Contact Page

About ‘Slekx’
‘Slekx’ arose from the ashes of my very first computer. It was an HP laptop that apparently resided on the lower end of the durability spectrum. I’ve always had a heavy typing hand, and I guess my laptop just couldn’t handle it. Over the course its lifetime, I managed to pop off 5 keys from the keyboard: E, L, X, S, K. ‘Slekx’ was the only permutation of the keys that made any phonological sense. And thus, my internet alias was born. You can find a stylized keyboard key between the ‘k’ and ‘x’ in the Slekx logo.
